Rekjavik - danger or not?
Most descriptions seem to be very stereotypical and biased. I was very disappointed in the United States entry and pictures that were chosen (the door in a subway, the side of a building). The "Trademarks" listed for the United States are: "Burgers, fries, and Budweiser; red, white, and blue T-shirts; sneakers and jeans; yuppies in SUVs; cowboys in pickups; loud people; gun lovers; dangerous cities." (Ironically, other places generally considered dangerous are not mentioned as dangerous.)Reykjavik is the capital of Iceland and with a latitude at 64°08' N, the world's most northern national capital. Until the 18th century, there was no urban development in the city location. As a highly modernised capital of one of the most developed countries in the world, its inhabitants enjoy a first-class welfare system and city infrastructure.6% of the total number of shares and votes in OMX.
